Desirable: Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, zoology or allied subject, field survey experience in wildlife, wildlife photography, knowledge of Computer and basic field data collection.
- The positions are for a period of one year initially and purely on temporary basis and will be terminated on completion of the assignment. However, the tenure of the JRF/FA will continue for the further period based on satisfactory performance and assessment through Expert Committee.
- The JRFs/FA are expected to undertake extensive field surveys in the mountains, forests, and wetlands and therefore, required to be physically fit to undertake research in terrain and hostile conditions. JRFs/FA will be required to survey in the Protected Area distributed throughout the spatial extent of central India and will be posted in the field, under Central Zone Regional Centre, Jabalpur.
Remuneration for Field Assistant: Rs.8000/- (consolidated) per month.
Upper age limit: The candidate should have 28 yrs as on the date of the interview for JRFs and 40 years for Field Assistant.
Selection Process: The process of selection will be done by the Interview.
